These blossoms are fading fast. They have been a veritable snowstorm beside my patio. I have brought vases full of these lovelies into my house and haven't even minded the stowaway ants that have caught a ride inside on the branches, such is their beauty. These were a wonderful surprise when they bloomed. Now, I'm feeling a little melancholy at watching the petals fall. The loveliness is all too fleeting, so I'm gathering as many blossoms as I can and drinking it all in while it lasts. All photographed using a Canon Rebel xti 18-55mm lens.
